While working on the Cosmic Energy Inventory, in which we attempt to
document all forms of energies in the universe, we realised that the
integration of the energy over galaxies does not match the cosmological
global value for some cases : something is missing. We ascribe this missing
to not taking circumgalactic astrophysics into account. I discuss a few
examples of such missing energies, and how this problem is solved by
considering circumgalactc astrophysics.
