Dusty side of star-forming galaxies

Michal Michalowski

In this talk I will review the long-wavelength (far-infrared and
submm) observations of distant star-forming galaxies, including
gamma-ray burst host galaxies. I will justify why they are important,
what we have learned from them about the dusty universe, and what
future prospects there are in terms of new submm facilities and
surveys.
