Instrumentation E-ELT

The scientific and technical teams at GEPI are strongly implied in the definition of the future “European Extremely Large Telescope” (E-ELT, 42 metres diameter). At the telescope design level, they take part in the definition of the M4 deformable mirror which will compensate for the effects of atmospheric turbulence. They provide a strong contribution to two instrumental projects (EAGLE and EVE).
